3.5.10 INTEGRATED MODEM CONNECTON

Wireless Modem

For the equipment variant equipped with the wireless modem, it is the wireless modem integrated in

the MOU and RRU provides the option of remote connection of the equipment by OMT. The wireless

modem implements the link for data and SMS. The power cable and data wire has already been

connected to the wireless modem, customer only need to insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot.

The LED indicator of the wireless modem displays the state of the modem:

LED OFF: repeater power off

LED ON: repeater power on, no UIM card or no connection to antenna

LED flash slowly: repeater power on, in SMS mode

LED flash quickly: repeater power on, in data link mode

Note: For data link mode, it depends on whether service provider provides this function or not.
