3. Getting Started
Preparing Your STAT
IM
B for First-Time Use
1.
Check that the bacteriological filter is securely
in place and that the two drain tubes are
connected correctly.
2.
Power ON the unit by using the switch located
on the back left.

Follow the screen prompts to connect your
STAT
IM
B using either WiFi or an Ethernet
cable connection. This will automatically set
the time and date for your unit.
4.
Open the reservoir lid to make sure the
unit contains distilled water or filtered water
containing less than 5 ppm total dissolved
solids (having a conductivity of less than 10 uS
/cm).

Check that the USB storage device is plugged
into the USB port. (You can use the front or
back ports.)
6.
Check your national and local guidelines for
any additional protocols and tests required
before using your unit.
If you do not wish to connect your STAT
IM
B
at this time, select a language and press the
FORWARD button. Press the SKIP button to
go to the end of the introduction. Set your time
zone and country manually. Refer to Section
2.5 to learn how to connect your STATIM B to a
network.
