Main Board

Tools Required.
To work on the SmartLF scanners, certain tools will be required. See list below. The acquisition of
these tools is strongly recommended.
1. Medium Pozi-drive screwdriver
2. Flat Screwdriver
3. 7mm Nut Spinner.
4. 5.5mm Nut-spinner.
5. 1.5mm Allen Key
6. 2mm Allen Key
7. 2.5mm Allen Key
8. Cleaning fluid
9. Lint free wipes

Safety Precautions
Ensure that the power is completely disconnected from the scanner unit.
Ensure the scanner is positioned on its Colortrac stand, or a stable maintenance platform.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Before removing the Main Board, open the utilities program (while the scanner is powered
up) and save a dat file as described in chapter “2.3 Save .dat File” page 11. Or record the
Stitch Values, Motor Speed and X Resolution values by using the Utilities Program page
9. If the scanner is not functioning do save the dat file, please contact Colortrac Support
for the original dat file.
