6 Settings
In the Settings menu, system and measurement parame-
ters are changed. The navigation in the menu tree and the
selection of individual menu items and parameters are
described - as in the previous chapters - with the
____
and __ keys. Abort settings using the “ESCAPE“ __ key.
6.1 System settings
Select from the top menu level “Settings” and then se-
lect “System” .
The following system parameters can be adjusted:
• Language
• Date
• Time
• Trigger
• User Mode mode
• Ext. power supply
• Use working standard
• Calibration warning
6.1.1 Date
To set the date, follow the instructions in chapter
4.7. Date and time settings.
6.1.2 Time
To set the time of day, follow the instructions in chapter
4.7

6.1.3 Language
To set the language, follow the instructions in chapter 4.8.

6.1.4 Trigger
The measurements can be started by pressing the probe
head downwards onto the sample or standard. In the
trigger setting this function can be switched off. Also a
control function can be used to check that the probe head
has not been moved during the scan

Open the “Trigger” window. The
set option will be displayed.
