5.4 Loading a standard
To load a standard colour from the memory, open the
window
“Measure” from the top menu level.
Open window
“Select standard” . The next step is to
select the folder with the ___ navigation keys where the
standard is stored by pressing the “Enter” __ key.
The ColorLite sph860/sph900 offers the user three
methods of selecting a standard from the memory.
Change which method to use in the menu
“Set-
tings” opening the window “Standard selection”
The three options are:
• “By index” selection is made by entering the
index number of the standard.
• “By list & Best Match” names of standards
are listed or measure any colour and the de-
vice finds the best matching standard colour.
• “By name” enter the name of the standard.
5.4.1 Loading a standard “By index”
Enter the standard index number
using navigation keys. The
standard name, values and date of
storage is displayed.
Select the standard using the “Enter” key. Abort the
routine using the “Escape” key.
5.4.2 Loading a standard “By list & Best Match”
After selecting the folder where
the standard is stored, a list of
available standards in the folder is
displayed. To load, scroll through
the standards using the navigation
_____ keys and select using the
“Enter” ___ key.
Or simply scan unknown colour by triggering using the
probe head to start the measurement. The software
compares the scanned colour to the stored standards in
the folder and automatically jumps to the nearest or
“best matching” colour. This can be loaded using the
“Enter” ___ key.
