9 Maintenance.
For a properly operation of the equipment, it is recommended to perform following maintenance
tasks:
9.1
General inspection (each 6 months)
The system (both control panel and sensors) must be maintenance under a general visual
inspection through the following task:
1) Check that all equipment is operating.
2) Inspect equipments for hits or damage.
3) Check the wiring and piping system is correct and no manipulation or damage symptoms are
observed.
4) Clean the equipment properly.
9.2
Control panel (each 12 month)
Following tasks must be made in control panel:
1) Check fault events
It can be shown in the control panel leds (Chapter 6) and through the events shown on the
display (chapter 8). The incidents encountered must be resolved properly.
2) Test of leds lights
It must be checked that all leds and display can work. This action can be perform through menu
1 (Chapter 10), paragraph 5.
3) Activating ventilations relays.
Check that control panel can active relays ventilation. For this it can be pressed the button
"manual ventilation", which activates the ventilation 1 of all the zones. After checking the correct
operation of these relays and the correct indication of this action in the control panel (led
flashing manually indicated by the letter E in Figure 10), if control panel is a DVB model, it can
be pressed again the button "manual mode" for a second time. Then, ventilation 2 output relays
ventilation of all zones will be actived and will light the leds permanently (letter E in figure 10).
Once checked ventilations outputs, press the "manual ventilation" button again, the control
panel recovers "automatic mode" switching off the manual mode LED (letter E in Figure 10). If
necessary, in menu 1 of control panel (see Chapter 10), point 5, you can activate and
deactivate the ventilation outputs of each zone individually.
4) Activating alarm Zones and Fault
If necessary, in menu 1 of control panel (see Chapter 10), point 5, you can activate and
deactivate the alarm outputs of each zone and fault output manually and individually.
