3. Technical Error Messages
A technical error is specified on the display via a numerical code (example: “2106“).
This message is accompanied by a continuous audible signal and a permanent red status
light.
Warning!
1.
A defective display is shown via a continuous tone and/or a permanent red status light with
disabled keyboard; in this case it is no longer possible to operate the unit.
2.
Any time there is suspicion of a technical fault, the pump must be immediately switched off,
disconnected from the patient and sent to your EBME / Technical Service Department.
3.
An error message is saved in the data log to assist in location of the error.
4.
After the CODAN Argus 718V is switched off, but also after a complete power outage,
the setting parameters are preserved for a limited time.
4. Event History
Significant events are recorded in the pump‘s memory in chronological order during use.
This data is saved even after the pump is switched off and can be read out by the Technical
Service Department using the CODAN Argus service software.
Further information on this can be found in the Service Manual or by contacting your EBME
department.
REMEMBER
If you suspect an error has occurred with the pump, it is your
responsibility to report this.
The CODAN Argus 718V has many further configurable options which can be utilized. Some of
these options require further training.
