4.6.2 To configure SSA button type
You can use an instant activation button or a standard activation button.
For details on the SSA button types, see [3]
SAILOR 6194 Terminal Control
Unit, Installation and user manual . The selected button type must be
configured in the SAILOR 3027.
To configure the SSA button type to
instant activation
, enter
: cfg -c 3
To configure the SSA button type to
standard operational mode
, enter
: cfg -c 0
4.6.3 To change the SSA message repeat rate
The repeat rate is the time between two SSA messages until the alert is
cancelled. In standard operational mode SSA messages will repeatedly be
sent while the SSA button is activated. In instant operational mode SSA
messages will repeatedly be sent until cancelled by sending an SSA Test
Message.
The default is standard activation mode with a repeat value of 30
minutes.
It is possible to change the SSA message repeat rate to a value between 20-
60 minutes.
Example of setting the repeat rate to 40 minutes:
