Warnings
• The Cobb Gas is a stand-alone unit and must not be built-in to any construction. Ignoring this could cause serious
damage/injury to property or the persons operating the unit. This also applies to installation in or on recreational vehicles/
caravans or boats.
• The Cobb Gas is not intended for commercial use
• The Cobb Gas is not intended, and should never be used, as a heater unless it is with a specific Cobb certified heater
unit.
• The unit should not be used when under the influence of alcohol and/or any prescription/non-prescription drugs as this
impairs the ability to properly assemble and operate the unit.
• Do not alter any parts sealed by the manufacturer. Any modifications could be dangerous and will void the warranty.
• Do not use the Cobb Gas under an overhang or a combustible roof.
• Ensure that all electrical cables are kept away from the heated surfaces while in use.
• This appliance shall only be used in an above ground open air situation with natural ventilation, without stagnant areas,
where gas leakage and products of combustion are rapidly dispersed by wind and natural convection.
• Gas is highly flammable. When connecting the gas cylinder make sure that there are no sources of ignition within a 5 m
radius. Protect the gas cylinder and the gas hose from direct sunlight and other sources of heat (max. 50 °C). Take particular
care to ensure that the gas hose does not touch any part of the hot barbecue.
• Use in an area where no flammable materials or substances are, or will be, in close proximity to the barbecue. Minimum
distance to flammable materials or substances: 2 m overhead and 1 m to the side. Distance to flame-resistant materials,
e.g. house walls: at least 0.6 m.

Placement of the gas cylinder during use
The gas cylinder must not be stored underneath the grill during use.
Position the gas cylinder next to the barbecue.
Note that the gas cylinder must not exceed the maximum height of 700
mm.
