Cleaning your Cobb Gas
• Always clean your Cobb Gas after each use.
• Ensure the Cobb Gas is completely cool before cleaning.
• Carefully remove the Dome Cover and the accessories in use.
• Carefully remove the Inner Sleeve as it may contain oil, fat, liquids, etc.
• Remove the gas cylinder after each use
• The accessories, Inner Sleeve and Dome Cover are dishwasher safe (with the exception of the Pizza Stone).
• You can use cleaning cloths, sponges or brushes suitable for stainless steel products to wipe clean the Inner Sleeve, Dome
Cover and accessories in a lukewarm soap water solution. Use dishwashing liquid or cleaning materials suitable for stainless
steel or aluminium products when cleaning the grill and components.
• Never use abrasive products on the stainless steel or non-stick components. The abrasion may damage the appearance of
the stainless steel or remove and damage the non-stick coatings.
• The Base and all other parts not mentioned above, should be cleaned by using a lukewarm soapy solution and cleaning
cloth/sponge to wipe clean taking care never to submerge the components.
Storing your Cobb Gas
• The cylinder must be removed from the Cobb Gas when not in use.
• Gas cylinder should be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of the reach of children. Any indoor storage shall
comply with AS/NZS 1596.
• If you store your Cobb Gas for a lengthy period of time, apply a light coat of vegetable oil to all stainless steel
surfaces but not the Nylon Top Ring and brass components such as the nozzle/jet.
• After a period of storage, the Cobb Gas should be checked for gas leaks and any obstructions in the burner tubes
before using.
• When removing your Cobb Gas from storage having applied the above beforehand, please remove all oil applied
to the various surfaces before use.
