VALVE ASSEMBLY

Two or three-way ON-OFF 230 V valves, complete

with fittings, supplied separately.

BUILT-IN ELECTRIC HEATER

The units in the 2-pipe configuration can be fitted as

standard with a built-in electric heater. The heater is

managed as an alternative to the hot water coil valve.

The heaters are immersion heaters installed inside the

coil. The electric heaters fitted on the appliances are

230 Volt, single-phase (separate power supply).

Note:

performance in cooling mode of units with elec-

tric heaters is 95% of the values shown.

BUILT-IN POWER BOARD (HB/i-HB)

All units can be fitted as standard with HB (a-CXW)

and iHB (i-CXW) power boards. The HB/i-HB power

board manages the fan speed and operation of the

on-off valves; communication between the user inter-

face (EKW and iKW controllers). For units equipped

with the HB/i-HB board, local Master-Slave network

installations are possible, with a two-wire connection

(the board comes with dipswitches for setting the

address in multiple installations and for system config-

uration), as well as installation in centralised hydronic

management systems compatible with the Modbus

protocol (in combination with the RS485 expansion

card accessory).

RS485 EXPANSION CARD FOR HB/iHB

The HB/i-HB power board can be fitted with a specific

RS485 expansion card for integrating the unit into

BMS supervisor systems using the MODBUS RTU

Master protocol. The control unit is not required for

management in centralised systems.

SPEED SELECTOR KIT FOR a-CXW

(without HB / i-HB card)

Receiving speed selector: allows the connection in

parallel of several units to a single thermostat (MTW

or ATW type). Each unit must be equipped with 1

selector.
