The kick start lever is installed on the right side of the motor. By using the
kick start mechanism; the bike should be in neutral.
Warning!
The engine can be turned over in any gear position, so make sure you are in
neutral.
After the engine is started, check if the start lever has returned to
its normal position.
Do not use the kick start and electric starter at the same time.
Helmet lock (Optional):
Select units are equipped with a helmet lock under the seat on the left side.
To open the helmet lock, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it
clockwise until the lock is open. Hook the buckle of the helmet to the lock
and turn the key counterclockwise until the lock is locked, then pull out the
key.
WARNING:
Never drive the vehicle with a helmet locked to the helmet lock. The
helmet may hinder safe driving.
