• Fine point marker to mark the location on tubing.
• Variable speed drill and impact driver (cordless with
extra batteries works best)
• Metal file and metal-cutting saw

• Adjustable pliers and self-locking pliers
• Ladders, work platforms, and other machinery for
lifting designed to work safely at the height of the
building and end frame.

Consult the services of a qualified,
professional contractor if you are not familiar with the

QUICK START DIAGRAMS
For a quick overview of the end frame and its
components and accessory installation, consult the
diagrams at the back of these instructions.
Cutting the Vertical Supports to Length
This end frame kit is equipped with 2.375 pipe for the
vertical supports. In some instances, these pipes are
connected and cut to the required length.
Cut only the
plain end of the assembled pipe.
The tapered or swaged end of the vertical support
is positioned at the top of the support. It is designed
to fit into the underside of the roll-form rafter where
it is secured using the supplied fasteners. WHEN
CUTTING PIPES TO LENGTH, DO NOT REMOVE
THE SWAGED END OF ANY VERTICAL SUPPORT
PIPE.
Hat Channel (108529)
Use the 108529 hat channel for the end wall frame
only. Do not use this hat channel on the main building
frame. Consult all instructions for details.
IMPORTANT:
Hat channel used for the main building,
includes pre-punched mounting holes;
the 108529 hat
channel does not.
End frame diagrams throughout this manual may
show hat channel that differs slightly in appearance
when compared to the 108529 hat channel. Disregard
this difference and install the 108529 hat channel as
instructed.
