Thank you for purchasing this ClearSpan™ End 

Frame Kit. When properly assembled and maintained, 

this product will provide years of reliable service. 

These instructions include helpful hints and important 

information needed to safely assemble and properly 

maintain the end frame. Please read these instructions 

before

 you begin.

If you have any questions during the assembly, contact 

Customer Service for assistance.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

•  Wear eye protection.
•  Wear head protection.
•  Wear gloves when handling metal tubes.
•  Use a portable GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit 

Interrupter) when working with power tools and cords.

•  Do not climb on the shelter or framing during or after  

construction.

•  Do not occupy the shelter during high winds,  

tornadoes, or hurricanes.

•  Provide adequate ventilation if the structure is  

enclosed.

•  Do not store hazardous materials in the shelter.
•  Provide proper ingress and egress to prevent  

entrapment. 

 

WARNING:

 The individuals assembling this end 

frame are responsible for designing and furnishing 

all temporary bracing, shoring and support needed 

during the assembly process. For safety reasons, 

those who are not familiar with recognized 

construction methods and techniques must seek the 

help of a qualified contractor.

END FRAME (R020B00001): READ THIS BEFORE YOU 

BEGIN

The R020B00001 end frame is attached to the main frame 

after the main building frame is assembled

. If you have 

not assembled the main building, stop here, return to the 

main building instruction guide, and continue with those 

instructions. 

After assembling the main building, 

choose one

 of the 

following options to continue:

•  No door (or doors) to install in the end frame: Continue 

with these instructions and assemble the end frame as 

instructed.

•  Optional door to install 

in the end frame

: Continue 

with the instructions 

included with the optional door

 

that was purchased. Instructions for the optional door 

include end frame instructions and instructions to install 

the door in the R020B00001 end frame.

•  Optional roll-up door was purchased: Continue with the 

instructions as presented with the optional roll-up door. 

In addition to the roll-up door, the door kit includes 

square, 4" x 4" tube and related hardware to assemble 

the door frame for the roll-up door.

•  Optional roll-up door 

and

 pedestrian (walk-through) 

door was purchased: Continue with the instructions 

sent with the 

roll-up door

 and then read and complete 

the instructions sent with the optional pedestrian (walk-

through) door. 

 

ATTENTION:

 The customer/contractor is responsible 

for setting the door and end framing as needed to 

accept the installation of the optional doors. Consult 

a qualified contractor if needed to assist in the door 

installation. 

Some doors may not include written 

instructions.

 

 

The above instructions pertain to items/accessories 

purchased from us and designed for the roll-form 

series of buildings. If you are attaching this end 

frame to structures of a different design, consult the 

services of a qualified contractor for assistance. The 

customer/contractor are responsible for adapting these 

instructions as determined necessary to safely and 

competently assemble and attach the components.

Consult the information near the back of this guide for 

suggestions regarding the installation of accessories 

such as exhaust fans and motorized shutters.
