H.323 PROTOCOL SETTINGS
For point-to-point and multipoint videoconferences, the H.323 protocol standard is used for
call signaling and control, video/audio transport and control, and bandwidth control.
COLLABORATE® Live utilizes H.323 to transport video/audio via DNS and NAT addressing,
and to communicate/interact with either a COLLABORATE® Central server or a standard
gatekeeper server, one of which you can choose to work with in order to gain better
performance and flexibility in point-to-point and multipoint videoconferences.
