Beware of Device and Material Damage

Before using the device, always check the
fl
oor cleaning cloth and the carpet glider for damage
and signs of wear. The cloth and the carpet glider must not be used if they have visible signs of
wear or are damaged. Your
fl
ooring could be damaged.

Use the device only if it is in good working order and has been fully assembled and the
fl
oor
cleaning cloth has been attached for cleaning
fl
oors.
❐
Use only the accessories included in the items supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
❐
Always work with suf
fi
cient lighting.
❐
Do not insert anything into the openings/nozzles of the device and make sure that these do
not become clogged.
❐
Never pour any cleaning agent or additives into the device. This could destroy the device and
safe working is no longer guaranteed.
❐
Never direct the steam on one spot for longer than around 10 seconds without interruption.
This may damage the surface.
❐
In the case of surfaces treated with wax, the heat and steam may remove the wax.
❐
Do not over
fi
ll the water reservoir. Use distilled water or tap water to
fi
ll it. Using any other
liquids may damage the device.
❐
Never operate the device without water in the water reservoir. The pump may be damaged if
the device is operated without water.
❐
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong temperature
fl
uctuations, direct
sunlight or moisture.
❐
Empty the water reservoir completely before you store away the device.
❐
Store the device in a dry, clean, cool place.
Warranty Terms
The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, calci
fi
cation or repair
attempts. This also applies to the normal wear and tear of the individual components.
