Step 1: Joints of the inlet pipelines should be sealed
with the least elbows, no water can be sucked.
Step 2: Connect the inlet pipe (Pos. 7, Fig. 8) to the
pump. The inlet pipe should have an inside dia-
meter of at least 25 mm and must be bend-
proof, pressure-proof and vacuum-proof. Keep
the suction pipe as short as possible as the
pump capacity decreases with increasing
length.
Step 3: Install the inlet pipe (Pos. 7, Fig. 8) in ascending
order and with at most one bend to the pump to
avoid air inclusions.
Step 4: Place the valve (Pos. 8, Fig. 8) at the end of the
inlet pipe in the water (approx. 30 cm from the
bottom) and ensure that there is always an suffi-
cient water supply.
Step 5: Install a filter on the inlet pipe of the pump to pre-
vent entering of the solid particles in the pump.
9.2 Connection of the pressure pipe
The pressure pipe (Pos. 4, Fig. 8) transports the liquid
from the pump to the extraction point. To avoid flow los-
ses, it is recommended to use a pressure pipe with at
least the same diameter as the pressure connection of
the pump.
Install the pressure pipe correctly at the pump and at
the respective tapping point.
ATTENTION!
The suction pipe must be installed in such a way
that it cannot exert any mechanical forces or distor-
tions on the pump.
ATTENTION!
When pumping dirty liquids, install a intake filter to
protect the pump from sand and dirt.
NOTE!
It is recommended to install a non-return valve to
prevent water backflow when the pump is switched
off.
ATTENTION!
Make sure that there is a sufficient distance (30 cm)
between the inlet pipe and the ground and shores to
prevent damage from the sand or stones being suc-
ked in.
ATTENTION!
The pressure pipe must be installed in such a way
that it cannot exert any mechanical forces or distor-
tions on the pump. All fittings should be sealed with
thread sealing tape.
ATTENTION!
Incorrect installation and use of parts that are not
resistant to internal pressure may cause the pres-
sure line to burst during operation. This may cause
injury due to liquid escaping from the line!
