FALL HAZARD - OPERATORS
During ascent and descent, personnel are not allowed to climb on the platforms and in the
vehicle to avoid the danger of falling.
FALL HAZARD - VEHICLE (Figure 11)
This hazard can occur if the vehicle is not positioned correctly on the platforms or if the
vehicle is not sized for the lifting capacity.
When the elevator is in operation, the engine of the vehicle being lifted must not be turned
on. No objects should be placed on the platforms and moving parts of the elevator, except
for vehicles.
RISK OF SLIPPING
Any lubricant contamination in the area below and immediately surrounding the elevator
and platforms must be cleaned up immediately. Remove any oil spills immediately. Keep the
work area clean.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
The risk of electric shock in areas isolated from electrical equipment has been eliminated.
Do not use water jets, steam solvents or paint in the vicinity of the elevator and control unit
and take special care to keep these substances away from the electrical control panel.
HAZARDS DUE TO IMPROPER LIGHTING
The operator, installer and maintenance personnel must be able to ensure that the area
where the elevator operates is properly and evenly lit in accordance with the laws of the
place of installation.

NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM LOAD CAPACITY OF THE ELEVATOR, MAKE SURE THAT
THE VEHICLES TO BE LIFTED ARE NOT LOADED.
IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL THAT ALL THE RULES FOR USE, MAINTENANCE AND
SAFETY CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL ARE STRICTLY OBSERVED.
ONLY QUALIFIED AND AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO CARRY
OUT THESE OPERATIONS, FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAREFULLY
TO AVOID ANY POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE CAR ELEVATOR OR RISK OF INJURY TO
PERSONS. MAKE SURE THE WORK AREA IS CLEAR OF PEOPLE.
