TROUBLESHOOTING
FAILURE CAUSE TROUBLESHOOTING
The motor does not
run when the UP
button is pressed.
The connection of the power
wires or the zero wire is not
correct.
Check and correct wire connection.
The AC contactor in the motor
circuit does not pick up.
If the motor operates by forcing the contactor
down with an isolation rod, check the control
circuit. If the voltage at both ends of the
contactor coil is normal, replace the contactor.
High limit switch is not closed
Short the 100# and 102# terminals, which are
connected to the upper limit switch, and if the
problem disappears, check the limit switch, the
wires and adjust or replace the limit switch.
When the UP button
is pressed, the
motor turns, but
there is no lifting
motion.
The motor turns backwards. Change the phases of the power wires.
Lifting with a light load is ok but
not lifting with a heavy load.
The safety relief valve setting pressure must be
increased by turning the setting knob slightly
clockwise.
The spool of the lowering descent solenoid
valve is stuck by dirt. Clean the spool.
The amount of hydraulic oil is
not enough
Add hydraulic oil.
When press
«DOWN» button,
the machine is not
lowered
The safety pawl is not working
properly
There is not enough air pressure or the safety
pawl is jammed.
The solenoid air valve is not
working properly
If the solenoid air valve is energized, but does
not open the air loop, check or replace the
solenoid air valve.
The descent valve is energized
but does not work
Check the drop valve plug and coil and check
the right hand tightness of its copper end nut,
etc.
The hydraulic oil has too hight
viscosity or frozen or deteriorated
(in winter)
Replace with 20# hydraulic oil according to the
instruction book.

The «anti-knock valve» to prevent
the oil line from bursting is
blocked.
Remove or close the air supply hose and thus
block the safety pawl of the machine without
lifting the safety pawl. Remove the «anti-knock»
from the oil supply port at the bottom of the oil
cylinder, and clean the «anti-knock valve».
Oil leakage on the oil hose or at its
connection.
Tighten the oil hose fittings or replace the oil
seals, then refill the oil and adjust the level.
The base or the machine is twisted Readjust the level of the machine or shim the
base.
