The operator, installer and service technician must comply with the safety regulations in
force in the country where the elevator is installed.

WARNING:
Indicates operations that are unsafe and may cause minor injury to persons,
damage to the elevator, vehicles or other property.
CAUTION : Indicates a possible hazard that could cause serious injury to persons and
damage to property.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD:
A specifi c safety warning placed on the elevator in areas
where the risk of electric shock is particularly high.
HAZARDS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
We will now look at the hazards to which operators and maintenance workers may be
exposed when the vehicle is in position on the elevator, and the various safety and protective
devices adopted by the manufacturer to minimize these hazards :
• For better safety of people and vehicles, observe the following rules:
• Do not enter the danger zone when vehicles are lifted.
• Make sure vehicles are properly positioned.
• Ensure that only authorized vehicles are lifted and that the maximum load capacity, height
and projection (length and width of the vehicle) specifi ed are not exceeded;
Ensure that no one is on the platforms while the elevator is moving up and down and when
the vehicle is at its maximum height.
