• The sandwich toaster should only be used and stored indoors.
• The body and the plates of the sandwich toaster become very hot during use;
avoid touching them with your bare hands.
• Do not use the sandwich toaster if the mains lead or its plug is damaged. Do not
use the sandwich toaster if you have dropped it on the floor, left it outdoors or
dropped it into water.
• Do not open the housing. Certain components inside the casing carry dangerous
electrical current. Contact with these components could result in electric shock.
• This sandwich toaster should only be repaired by a qualified service technician.
• The sandwich toaster must not be taken apart or modified.
• If the sandwich toaster should start to emit smoke, switch it off immediately and
pull the plug out of the wall socket.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the sandwich toaster if
the mains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
