Safety
•
The bread can burn if left unattended.
•
Never use the sandwich toaster together with a timer switch, multi-socket extension
lead or similar device.
•
Unplug the mains lead and let the sandwich toaster cool before cleaning it.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the housing. Never use solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents.
•
The sandwich toaster may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the sandwich toaster in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•
Never let children play with the sandwich toaster.
•
Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or over, but only
under adult supervision.
•
Keep the sandwich toaster and its mains lead out of reach of children under
the age of 8.
•
Place the sandwich toaster on a flat, fire resistant and durable surface.
•
Remove all packaging before use.
•
Do not place the sandwich toaster where there is a risk of it falling into water or
other liquid.
•
Ensure that the sandwich toaster is used with the correct voltage. Refer to
the sandwich toaster’s rating plate.
•
Make sure that the lead does not come in contact with hot surfaces such as
cooker hobs.
•
The sandwich toaster should be used only as described in this manual.
•
Keep in mind that the sandwich toaster will get hot during use.
•
Never insert cutlery, tools or similar objects into the sandwich toaster.
•
Always unplug the sandwich toaster from the wall socket before cleaning it or
when it is not to be used for a long time.
•
Never subject the sandwich toaster to knocks or blows.
•
Do not pull or carry the sandwich toaster by its mains lead. Do not use the lead as
a handle and do not let it fasten in door jambs. Do not pull the lead around sharp
corners or edges.
