MAIN COMPONENTS

1. Bolt the two halves of
the bed together, using
the four nuts, bolts and
washers supplied,
ensuring the two halves
are perfectly aligned
so that the assembly
lies flat on the work
surface.
ASSEMBLY
2. Place the Tailstock on the bed.
Disassemble the Tailstock Clamp assembly (8, Fig.1)
and reassemble to the Tailstock with the bolt
through the hole in the Tailstock, throught the
Clamping Plate and into the Lever.
Note the orientation of the Clamping Plate and Lever
- Clamping Plate with raised edges uppermost and
sitting between the bed rails, and the Lever angled
downwards (Fig.4a).
Screw in the bolt and nip up using the lever.
Note the position of the Lever, when fully tightened
should be towards the operator as shown in Fig.4. This
is achieved by slackening off the lever, and turning
the bolt head until the appropriate position is attained
when the lever is tightened again.
