Restoring or Reloading a Session
To restore a saved session, “undo” your unapplied changes, or restart from a
default configuration, click the
Restore / Load Session
link at the top of the page.
Then choose one of the options described below.
NOTE
If the firmware was upgraded since a session was saved, it is possible that the
system will be unable to restore certain settings. If this situation occurs, an error
message appears with information about the issues. You can then enter any
settings that were not restored.

New Configuration:
Choose this option to abandon your currently applied
configuration and restart from a default configuration. Then click
Restore /
Load
. All connected devices will reboot, and the system will restart in initial
setup mode. Log in with the default username,
cisco
, and the default
password,
cisco
. Advance through each task step by step. Be sure to apply
your configuration or save your session before closing the configuration
utility.

Resume incomplete session from device:
Choose this option to resume a
partial, unapplied configuration that was saved to the UC 320W by using
the Backup / Save Session link. You also can restore a file that was saved by
the Autosave feature, which is active during an initial configuration (see
Starting a New Configuration, page 44
). These files are identified as
Autosave files. After you click the radio button, you can choose a saved
session from the drop-down list. Then click
Restore / Load
. The saved
settings are loaded into the configuration utility. When prompted to log in,
use the login credentials that are currently applied to the device (current
login credentials are not overwritten when you load a configuration).
Proceed with the configuration tasks. Be sure to apply your configuration or
save your session before closing the configuration utility.

Resume incomplete session from a saved file:
Choose this option to
resume a partial, unapplied configuration that was saved to your PC by
using the Backup / Save Session link. Click the radio button, and then click
Choose File
to select the file from your PC. Then click
Restore / Load
. The
saved settings are loaded into the configuration utility. When prompted to
log in, use the login credentials that are currently applied to the device
(current login credentials are not overwritten when you load a
configuration). Proceed with the configuration tasks. Be sure to apply your
configuration or save your session before closing the configuration utility.
