Starting Installation and Cabling of the Front Row Table

Page 61

Route the cables.

Note the reference designators on the cables, and check the cabling diagram to

make sure you use the correct cables.

Route the 6x power cables from the power/Ethernet table leg

modules to the PDU. Use the slots in the cable management assembly to assist in routing.

Route the 1x power

cable from the PoE Switch to the PDU (shown in red). Use Velcro cable wrap 52-0449-xx to manage excess

cables. 3.

Route 1x-6x Ethernet cables from the Ethernet switch to the top of the table (to be used for the 1x -

6x Touch 10 call control devices).

Use this switch for the Touch 10 devices only; DO NOT use this switch for

the table leg Ethernet connections.

Route the 1x power cable from the PDU to the cable runner (shown in

red).

Route the Ethernet cables from the power/Ethernet table leg modules to the cable runner (shown in blue).

Leave space above the switch for venting. f. Connect the mic bar cables to the Microphone Connector, and route

the main Microphone Connector cable through the cable runner.

NOTE:

The mic bars, Touch 10 device, and

presentation cable retractors are installed in a later procedure.
