Chapter I Commands

ipv6 pim hello-interval

To configure the IPv6 Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM6) hello-message interval on an interface,
use the

ipv6 pim hello-interval

command. To reset the hello interval to the default, use the

form of

this command.

ipv6 pim hello-interval

interval

no ipv6 pim hello-interval

[

interval

]

Syntax Description

Defaults

The PIM6 hello interval is 30,000 milliseconds.

This command requires the Enterprise Services license.

This example shows how to configure the PIM6 hello-message interval on an interface:
