The
DHCP Server Page
contains the following fields:
•
DHCP Relay — Enable or disable DHCP Relay on the device. The possible
values are:

Enable
— Enable DHCP Relay on the device.

Disable
— Disable DHCP Relay on the device.

Option 82 — Indicates if DHCP Option 82 with data insertion is enabled on the
device. DHCP with Option 82 attaches authentication messages to the packets
sent from the host. DHCP passes the configuration information to hosts on a
TCP/IP network. This permits network administrators to limit address allocation
to authorized hosts. DHCP with Option 82 can be enabled only if DHCP
snooping is enabled.The possible field values are:

Enable
— Enables DHCP Option 82 with data insertion on the device. If
DHCP Option 82 with data insertion is enabled the DHCP server can
insert information into DHCP requests. The DHCP information is used to
assign IP addresses to network interfaces.
