disconnect

Set

the

power

switch

on

the

back

of

the

master

HyperSwitch

main

unit

to

the

OFF

position

Unplug

the

power

cable

from

the

power

outlet

and

then

from

the

HyperSwitch

Step

Ensure

the

power

switch

on

the

back

of the slave

HyperSwitch

Al00

is

in

the

OFF

position

Step

Remove

all

the

optical

cables

and

the

EIAITIA-232

cable

by

grasping

the

connector

from

the front of the master

HyperSwitch

main

unit

Mark

the cables

with

their

respective

slot

numbers

to

facilitate

reconnection

later

Step

Using

Phillips

screwdriver

remove

the

six

screws

from

the

PROC

card

panel

Grasp

the

card

ejectors

on

the

PROC

card

panel

and

pull

the

card

outward

Step

Using

Phillips

screwdriver

remove

the seven

screws

from

the

bottom and

the three

screws

from

the rear of

the

master

and

slave

HyperSwitch

AlOO

units

Step

Hold

both

sides of the master

HyperSwitch

A100

cover

and

slide

it

slightly

forward

approximately

25 millimeters or

inch

Then

lift

the cover

upward

Repeat

this

action

for

the slave

HyperSwitch

100

Caution

When

the

LINF

cards

are

already

installed

lifting

the cover

before

properly

sliding

it

forward

may

damage

optical

connector

on

LINF

cards
