Chapter 4 Using the Cisco Video Portal AAI

Perform the following steps to configure Section III Apliance_Control.

Step 1

Select APLLIANCE_CONTROL and press

Enter

Step 2

Configure the Control Appliance Settings as follows:

GET_SYSLOG

—For troubleshooting and to provide a syslog to TAC.

RESET_PASSWORD

—To reset the admin password.

UPDATE_APPLIANCE

—To patch the server appliance using a DMSDMS-approved patch or

update from a CD.

REBOOT

—To reboot the server appliance.

SHUTDOWN

—To shut down the server appliance.
