Perform the following steps to configure Appliance Control.

Step 1

Select

APPLIANCE_CONTROL

and press

Enter

Step 2

Configure the following Appliance Control Settings.

GET_SYSLOG

—For troubleshooting and to provide a syslog to TAC.

RESET_PASSWORD

—To reset the admin password.

UPDATE_APPLIANCE

—To patch the server appliance using a DMS approved CD.

REBOOT

—To reboot the appliance.

SHUTDOWN

—To shut down the appliance.
