5.3.2 Installing option (Slot#2 or Slot#3)

Install according to the following procedures.

ANNT)

- The installation location and quantity have to indicate by the system administrator.

(1) Proceed to the net procedure according to the following procedures.

→ When the Base Unit state is “AC Power On, System Power On”. Proceed to procedure (2).

→ When the Base Unit state is “AC Power On, System Power Off” or “AC Power Off”.

Proceed to procedure (3).

(2) The system administrator makes the PCI card installable state.

(3) Remove the PCI cassette of installation slot.

Removing PCI card (slot#2 and slot#3)

(4) Mount the PCI card in PCI cassette.

See Appendix F.9.3 “

Installing PCI card (slot#2 and slot#3)

”.

(5) Install the PCI cassette into the IOUB.

→ Wait about 10 seconds

(6) When the Base Unit state is “AC Power Off”, turn on AC power then wait about a minute.

(7) Make sure that the Alarm indicator of the PCI cassette is not lit. (See “Figure 5.3.2”.)
