Access the CTS 500 codec by performing one of the following actions:

•

For a pedestal stand-mounted CTS 500, lift and remove the codec cover. See Figure 2-14 for more
information.

•

For a wall-mounted or table stand-mounted CTS 500, remove the codec handle, slide the codec to
the center, and disconnect the codec from the base.

Tip

Removal is the opposite of installation; it can be helpful to review the codec installation instructions in
