Viewing Model Information and Serial Number

You can verify the model and serial number of Cisco Unified IP Phones 7905G
and 7912G by viewing the Model Information screen.

Procedure

Step 1

Press the

Menu

button.

Step 2

Choose

Settings

Model Information

Step 3

Use the Navigation button to display the information in the Model Information
screen.

Table 6-1

describes the information that appears in this screen.

To exit the Model Information screen, press the

Exit

softkey.

Viewing Status Messages

Use status messages on the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7905G and 7912G to
diagnose network configuration problems. You can access these messages at any
point, even if the phone has not finished starting up.
