Installing and Removing Line Cards or Motherboards

Use the extraction tool to remove the SFP by inserting it into the side of the transceiver and pulling it
out of the module.(See

Figure 2-17

.)

Step 4

Place the removed SFP in a container appropriate for shipping and storage.
