Chapter 2 Installing the Cisco ONS 15530
Rack-Mounting the Shelf
To flush-mount the Cisco ONS 15530 CHAS-N chassis in a 19-inch equipment rack, use the following
steps:
Step 1
Attach the mounting brackets to the shelf (see
Figure 2-5
).
Step 2
Lift the shelf into position between the rack posts (requires two people).
Step 3
Align the mounting bracket holes with the rack post holes (see
Figure 2-6
) and attach the shelf to the
rack (performed by the third person).
