Power Consumption

The following tables detail the power consumption for the various SCS/SDS device
models. The following definitions should be taken into account when reading
these tables:

•

Minimum Load

: A device that is functional but has no optics,

loopbacks, or traffic running.

•

Maximum Load

: A device that is functional and is fully populated

with optics, fiber runs, and/or Cat5 cables looped from port to port.

No traffic or loopback test running.

•

BTU/hr Calculation
