With this function it is not only possible to test classic
diodes but also LED’s and any other semiconductor where
the junction corresponds to a direct voltage less than 3 V.

6. TEMPERATURE
In order to avoid electrocution, never put the extremity of
the K thermocouple in contact with a conductor whose
voltage is greater than 24 V RMS or 60 V ... in relation to
earth.
■
Select the TEMP function.
■
Connect the adapter to the COM and TEMP (K) terminals,
the “+” of the adapter must be connected to the TEMP
terminal (see fig. below).
■
Connect the K thermocouple to the adapter.
■
Automatic range selection: read off the value

Select the measurement unit, °C or °F
■
If necessary, store the value in memory by pressing the
HOLD button
If necessary, press the following buttons :

MIN MAX to read off the min. or max. values

to light up the display
