10. MAINTENANCE
For maintenance, use only specified spare parts. The
manufacturer will not be held responsible for any accident
occuring following a repair done other than by its After
Sales Service or approved repairers.
10.1 Replacing the battery and fuse
The multimeter must be disconnected from any source of
electricity.

Select OFF
■
Unscrew and lift off the underside of the casing
■
Replace the worn-out battery with a 9 V battery 6F22 or
6LF22)
■
Replace the defective fuse with a new one of the same
type and value :
0.1 A HRC safety fuse (660 V - 10 kA - mini 6.3 x 32 mm)
10.2 Storage
If the multimeter isn’t to be used over a period of 60 days or
more, take out the battery and store it separately.
10.3 Cleaning
First disconnect the multimeter from any electrical
sources.
To clean the casing use a damp cloth and soapy water.
Next, dry quickly with a cloth or in an air flow.
10.4 Metrological Checks
It is essential that all measuring instruments are regularly
calibrated.
For checking and calibration of your instrument, please contact
our accredited laboratories (list on request) or the Chauvin
Arnoux subsidiary or Agent in your country.

Maintenance
Repairs under or out of guarantee: please return the product
to your distributor.
11. WARRANTY
Our guarantee is applicable for twelve months after the date
on which the equipment is made available (extract from our
General Conditions of Sale, available on request).
