After the application of another dab of anti-
seize, the rod ends are threaded into the
A-arms, until the jam nuts are snug against
the arm itself.

This step must be done carefully because
the upper and lower A-arm mounts are
threaded and welded to the frame. Use the
5/8-18 tap to chase the threads on the front
and backsides of both upper mounts. Blow
any remaining particles out of the hole with
an air hose.
