PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

Keypads or IR sensors 1. Source components not connected. Connect sources and verify operation
not working

by front panel.

2. IR emitter not fastened to source.

Attach IR emitter over receiver IR
window.

3. IR emitter faulty

Replace emitter.

4. Incorrect wiring order.

Verify correct wiring sequence from
keypad to ARIA.

5. Keypad not programmed.

Program keypad.

6. Excessive cable capacitance

Attach 82 Ohm resistors to rear of
A6600. If still inoperable, obtain a
shorter run of cable and connect
keypad/sensor to A6600.
If operational, consider a higher
grade of cable.

7. IR noise entering receivers

Take steps to remove the IR noise.

Remote will not operate

1. Batteries missing

Check for batteries inside packaging.

2. Batteries dead Put in fresh batteries.

3. Batteries inserted wrong.

Follow diagram in battery
compartment.

4. Remote signal blocked.

Clear path to front of unit.

5. Lens requires cleaning.
