Note:
The Fast Ethernet interface channels can be logically configured for either Fast Ethernet traffic, or
protection, wayside, or management traffic.
IDU-RFU Coax Cable
The Coax Cable that connects between the IUD and the RFU should be terminated with N-type male
connectors.
Important!
Make sure that the inner pin of the connector does not exceed the edge of the connector.
The cable should have a maximum attenuation of 30 dB at 350 MHz.
Configuring the IDU
After the system is installed and tested, and antenna alignment is performed, the next step is IDU setup and
configuration.
Setup procedures are performed using the FibeAir IP-10 CLI (Command Line Interface) or Web Based
Management.
