To replace the V-Belt: When replacing the V-Belt (52) make sure to install an
identical size and type of V-Belt. To replace the V-Belt:
A. Open the Body (32) of the Bandsaw. (See Figure M.)
B. Turn the Blade Tension Adjusting Knob (97) counterclockwise to release ten-
sion on the Saw Blade (35). Then, remove the Saw Blade.

C. Turn the Belt Tensioning Hand Wheel (62) counterclockwise to release tension
on the old V-Belt.

D. Remove the Circlip (39) and Bearing (40) from the Lower Wheel (42). Then,
remove the Lower Wheel to expose the Pulley (44), Outer Shift Wheel (50),
and Tension Pulley (53).

E. Remove the old V-Belt (52). Then, install the new V-Belt onto the Pulley (44)
and Outer Shift Wheel (50), and
under the Tension Pulley (53).

F. Re-install the Lower Wheel (42), Bearing (40), and Circlip (39).

G. Re-install the Saw Blade (35). Then, close the Body (32) of the Bandsaw.

H. Turn the Belt Tensioning Hand Wheel (62) clockwise to increase tension on
the new V-Belt.
