How to lock the buttons
Press the lock button, the timer indicator will show ‘Lo’.
How to unlock the buttons
Hold down the lock button to unlock the buttons.
Timer
You can set the timer in two different manners:
- You can use it as an external timer. In such case, when the timer finishes, none of the
cooking areas will turn off.
- You can set it so one or some cooking areas turn off once the time expires.
The maximum time is 99 minutes.
Use of the timer as an external timer

Make sure the hob is on. Note: you can use the timer even if you have not selected
any cooking area.
2. Press the timer button, the timer indicator will start flashing and the timer display
will show 10.
3. Set the time by using the - or + buttons of the timer.
4. Press the - or + buttons at once to cancel the timer and the time display will show 00.
5. When you confirm the timer, the countdown will start automatically. The display will
show the remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
6. When the countdown ends, it will beep for 30 seconds and the timer indicator will
show - -.
Tips
- Press the + or - buttons on the timer once to increase or decrease the time in 1-minute
intervals.
- Hold down the + or - buttons on the timer to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute
intervals.
Use of the timer to turn off the cooking area

Press the cooking area selection button from the area you wish to programme the
timer.
2. Press the timer button, the timer indicator will start flashing and the timer display
will show 10.

Hold down the On/off button for 3 seconds. After turning on the hob, it will beep and
all the indicators will show - or - -, indicating the induction hob is on standby mode.
2. Place suitable cookware in the cooking area in which you wish to use. Make sure the
bottom of the cookware and the cooking area surface are clean and dry.
3. When pressing the cooking area selection button, the indicator next to the button
will flash.
4. Select the power by pressing the + and/or - buttons.
- If you do not select the power in 1 minute, the hob will turn off automatically. You must turn
it on again and return to step 1.
- You can modify the power any time while cooking.
If the display shows
and the power setting alternatively.
This can mean:
- You have not placed the cookware in the correct cooking area.
- The cookware you are using is not suitable for the induction hob.
- The cookware is too small or is not centred correctly in the cooking area.
If you do not place a suitable cookware in the cooking area, it will not produce heat.
The display will turn off automatically after 2 minutes if you do not place any cookware.

Press the cooking area selection button from the area you wish to turn off.
2. To turn off the cooking area, press - until the value shows 0 or press the + and -
buttons at once. Make sure the display shows 0.
3. Turn off the hob completely by pressing the On/off button.
Caution with hot surfaces

The hob will show H on any cooking area which is hot to the touch after use. The H will disappear
when the surface has cooled down and reached a safe temperature. You can also use a hot hob
to save energy if you want to heat more frying pans.
Buttons lock
- You can lock the buttons to avoid any unintentional use (e.g. children accidentally turning
on the cooking areas).
- When the hob is active, all buttons will be disabled, except the On/off button, so you can
turn off the hob with this button in case of emergency, but you should unlock all buttons
when you turn on the hob again.
