Connection of the data connection leads.
To connect the FOODLABfat instrument to a host computer to download analytical
data, use the lead (code CDR 220804) connected to the (RS232) DCE connector.
To connect the FOODLABfat Instrument to a host computer to update the software,
use the lead (code CDR 220805) connected to the (RS232) DTE connector.
4 Operation
4.1 Operation procedure
The FOODLABfat is an instrument equipped with dedicated software for the deter-
mination of parameters on different oils and fat extracts and alimentary matrixes of
various natures.
The instrument receives electrical current by inserting the power supply plug. At this
point:

On the display for one second appears the version of the installed software and
it carries out a first level auto-test.

It loads all available tests for analysis from EEPROM module.

It will be in Stand-by mode (the heating of the instrument are not switched on in
this mode).
In case an error code occurs on display, proceed as described in chapter 5 Error
messages.
