Controlling the settings of your Pocket 4K or Pocket 6K Camera
As well as providing auto and manual focus control of your Pocket 4K or Pocket 6K
camera, the AFX also enables you to monitor and control its settings. The settings can be
viewed on the
COMMAND SCREEN
which you can access by pressing the
A
button on
the AFX unit.
The
COMMAND SCREEN
displays the current settings of your camera and this is
updated in real time when you make changes either via the
R1 Controller
or on the
camera itself.
In addition, the MODE INDICATORS section displays whether the AFX is in
COMMAND
(C) or
FOCUS
(F) mode as well as the current
AF-S/AF-C
status.
To make changes on your camera from the
R1 Controller
, you must be in
COMMAND
MODE
and you can select this by pressing the
B
button on the AFX unit or by a long press
of the
UP TRIG
on the
R1
if you are using a Pocket 4K camera.
Once in
COMMAND MODE
, pressing the
A,B,C,D,JOY L
(long press) or
JOY R
(long
press) on the
R1
will activate the function on the camera that you currently have assigned
to them.
By default, the
C
and
D
buttons on the
R1
are assigned to the ISO control of the camera
so press these now to change the ISO value up and down.
The assignment of controls to the
R1
keys is accessed from the main
SETUP MENU
and
for a full list of the available options and how to assign them, please consult the
BUTTON
ASSIGNMENT MENU
section in
MENU REFERENCE GUIDE - PART 3
of this User
Guide.
In addition, the RECORD START/STOP function of the camera is permanently assigned to
the
UP TRIG
(short press) on the
R1
. When the camera is in RECORD, the
COMMAND
SCREEN
background will be presented in Red.
