Installation of Unit PN B823 Series (Ref. Fig. 13002)
WARNING:
IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE OF
LIQUID SOAP DISPENSER LIQUID SOAP MUST HAVE A
VISCOSITY < 30 MPA/S, NACL-SHARE < 1 % AND BE
FREE OF ALCOHOL AND AROMATIC COMPOUNDS. WE
RECOMMEND TO USE ONLY THE ORIGINAL SOAP APPROVED
BY CBS - CARSTEN DAUS GMBH.
(a)
Install metal washer and rubber washer onto shank.
(b)
Insert the piston assy together with upper part of the
shank and PVC-tube into the mounting hole of the cabinet.
NOTE:
Ensure that the outlet of the piston extends over
the sink and that it remains in position during
further installation. If shank is to be installed
without piston and spout, ensure that the spring
in the lock ring is lined up with the expected
outlet direction.
(c)
Install the tooth lock washer and the retaining nut
onto the shank.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO SHANK ASSY, DURING FASTENING
RETAINING NUT, USE NOT TOO MUCH POWER. TORQUE
VALUE IS 15,00 NM (11.06 lbf.ft.).
(d)
Tighten up retaining nut hand tight.
(e)
Install the clamp (A) and the PVC-tube on upper part of
the shank.
(f)
Install the holder into the cabinet.
NOTE:
If holder is to be installed for the first time,
mounting holes with a diameter of 5 mm (0.19 in.)
must be drilled. Use appropriate screws taking
into consideration the material and thickness
of the wall.
(g)
Install and secure lower part of shank onto adapter
and install both together onto soap container.
NOTE:
Apply sealant (Elastosil E43) for the soap
container installation.
(h)
Tighten up adapter and soap container hand tight.
(i)
Install the equipped soap container on the PVC-tube with
the clamp (B).
