Description of the electronic amalgam level control and alarm system
Hydrocyclone ISO 18 can be controlled using two different electronic control panels:
AC58 or AC80.
Description of the electronic amalgam level control and alarm system
with AC58
(draw. 6 page 46)
Through a pair of photodiodes the amalgam level sensor (15) fi tted aside the amal-
gam collection container (5) detects the amalgam level inside the container: when the
amalgam level reaches
95%
the control panel shows a yellow alarm signal (18) and an
audible alarm beeps; push the button (19) to cancel the audible alarm.
The Hydrocyclone keeps on running regularly while the visual alarm (18) stays illumi-
nated. When the amalgam level reaches
100%
, the red alarm signal becomes illuminated
(20) and the audible alarm beeps; push the button (19) to cancel the audible alarm.
The Hydrocyclone keeps on running until the machine is switched off.
It won’t be
possible to start the machine again unless the amalgam collection container (5)
is replaced
.
Every time an alarm causes the machine to stop, a volt-free (clean) contact closes
(terminals 25-26) (draw. 4 page 44).
With this contact it is possible to place a signal remotely.
Description of the electronic amalgam level control and alarm system
with AC80
(draw. 6 page 46)
Through a pair of photodiodes the amalgam level sensor (15) fi tted aside the amalgam
collection container (5) detects the amalgam level inside the container: the text “Report
Cod. I14” on the display (22) warns that the amalgam level has reached
95%
; press the
button ESC (23) to cancel the alarm from the display and to visualize other parameters,
remember that the control panel keeps the alarm in its records and that the alarm will
be displayed again upon switching on the machine.
The Hydrocyclone keeps on running regularly. When the amalgam level reaches
100%
,
the text “Report Cod. I15” appears on the display (22). The Hydrocyclone keeps on run-
ning until the machine is switched off.
It won’t be possible to start the machine again
unless the amalgam collection container (5) is replaced
.
Every time one of the above mentioned alarms occurs, a volt-free (clean) contact closes
on the circuit board (terminals 8-9) (draw. 4 page 44). With this contact it is possible to
place a signal remotely.
The contact remains closed and the alarm remains active until the amalgam collection
container is replaced and the machine is switched off.
