Auto File Naming
When Auto File Naming is enabled, each data recording and all its associated audio
files are automatically named using the naming structure below: -
COUNT_C_TIME_DATE.dat Data File
COUNT_C_TIME_DATE.csv Data CSV File
COUNT_V_TIME_DATE.wav Voice Memo Wav File
COUNT_A_TIME_DATE.wav Noise Event Audio Wav File
Each data file and any associated audio files begin with an incremental count: -
•
00001 to 99999
Each file is then tagged with one of the following for easy identification: -
•
D – Data File
•
C – CSV File
•
V – Voice Memo
•
A – Noise Event Audio File
Each file is then time and date stamped in the format as per language selected, in the
UK this is as follow: -
•
TIME – hhmmss
•
DATE – ddmmyy
File names on the dBAir display are supressed, the date is not visible.
