Measurement Screens
The dBAir sound level meter can independently and simultaneously record two
measurements. Each measurement can have different time weightings and/or
frequency weightings. To clearly identify these, they are named Measurement 1 and
Measurement 2 on your instrument where any ambiguity may arise.
Where fitted, octaves and percentiles are only ever available for Measurement 1.
Scroll the available measurement screens using the
Up
or
Down Arrow
keys.
Measurements
Your dBAir instrument will always start showing the Measurement Screen shown below
and is available for all models of the dBAir: -
Measurement 1 on this screen is identified by having the larger font size, required for
legislation in certain countries.
The colour coded measurement bar graph is only applicable to Measurement 1, and
the values at which the colour banding changes can be amended. See
SPL Bars Levels
under
Instrument Setup
for details.
