The Cinema 6 allows you to send a stereo signal to a remote second zone. This signal must be amplified by an external power
amplifier and sent to speakers in the remote zone. You can choose to feed any analog stereo source connected to the inputs of the
Cinema 6 to the second zone, regard less of what source has been chosen to play on the main system.
Press ZONE button on the remote to view the ZONE OUTPUT menu.
Use the
and
buttons to select which source signal will be sent through the ZONE2 OUTPUT outputs to the second zone.
The Source choices appear as follows as you scroll through them.
You can scroll in either direction using the
and
Buttons.
Your selection will appear on the display:
Only analog output sources can be used with the Multi-Zone system.
Press the EXIT button to exit the OTHER SETUP menu.
Audio from the source you selected will be heard through the speakers in the second zone.

Access to a 7.1channel source connected to the ANALOG 7.1 INPUTinputs is accomplished by using the 8 channel direct mode.
Examples of a 5.1 channel source would be a DVD-A or SACD multi-channel player.
To enter 8 Channel Direct mode:

The Cinema 6 is set to Bypass mode, circumventing any internal surround processing and the display will read:

This control sets the Cinema 6 Display brightness. The default display brightness is set to be easily visible in a normally lit room.
If you prefer to dim the display, for example, during movie viewing in a darkened room, you can access the VFD Brightness setting
1. Press the MENU button to enter the Main Menu.
The Main Menu appears and the cursor should be pointing to INPUT SETUP.
2. Press the
button until OTHER SETUP is selected.
3.Press the
(SEL PLAY) button to enter the OTHER SETUP menu.
The OTHER SETUP menu appears and the cursor should be pointing to ZONE2 OUTPUT.
4.Press the
button until the BRIGHT is selected.
5.Use the
and
buttons to choose between HIGH, MIDDLE or LOW.
6.After making your selection, press the EXIT button to exit the MAIN MENU.
Multichannel Source (ANALOG 7.1 INPUT) Playback
Press the 7.1A (ANALOG) or 7.1B (ANALOG) button on the remote control.
Press the INPUT buttons on the remote or turn the INPUT SELECTOR knob on the front panel to select another source.
